Some customers have found that applying the fixes using the Configuration Tool editor causes the site to crash.
<p>Workaround:<br/> - Open the web.config that causes the web crash<br/> - Delete or comment out the following line<br/> <add name="Session" type="System.Web.SessionState.SessionStateModule" /><br/> - Save changes<br/> - Apply all fixes using the Configuration Editor tool<br/> - In some cases an iisreset is required<br/> </p>
