After installing the Quest Web Parts for SharePoint, any Microsoft Office document in the SharePoint document library or list would prompt for authentication every time.

Cause

<p>This is an issue with the Microsoft Office 2007 and Microsoft Vista Operating system.</p>

Resolution

<p>The issue gets resolved when the following patch from Microsoft is installed:-<br/><a href="http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907306">http://support.microsoft.com/kb/907306</a></p>
