The following error occurs during installation of QWP on Windows 2008:

“Solution Package deployment error: Access denied.

Please check with Installation Guide for more information”

Cause

<p> UAC prevents solution package from being installed.</p>

Resolution

<p> You should run the installation package using elevated administrative rights. To do that, perform the following:</p><p> 1. Right click on Command Prompt and run it as Administrator</p><p> 2. Move to the installation folder where QWP msi is located.</p><p> 3. Execute the following command:</p><p><strong> msiexec /i {QWP_msi_name.msi}</strong></p>
