A user with Contributor rights is adding an item to a list using form with qListView. He is getting the following error: “The following error occurred: Access is denied. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80070005 (E_ACCESSDENIED))”
<p> The user with Contrubitor rights does not have permissions to display value in one of the fields.</p>
<p> Look at the list settings and find any <strong>Lookup</strong> and/or <strong>Person or Group </strong>field. (Created by and Modified by fields do not count).</p><p> Make sure the user account has permissions to all the lists which are used by Lookup and/or Person or Group fields.</p><p> In case of the <strong>Lookup </strong>field - look at the list permissions.</p><p> In case of the <strong>Person or Group </strong>field:</p><p> Go to the Group Settings and make sure the "<strong>Who can view the membership of the group?" </strong>is set to <strong>Everyone:</strong></p><p><strong><img title="ATT - 20121025_131423_Group Settings.png" alt="ATT - 20121025_131423_Group Settings.png" src="https://support.software.dell.com/KBArticleImages/98824//20121025_131423_Group Settings.png"/></strong></p>
